Galatians 1:11-16

11 Beloved ones, let me repeat emphatically that the gospel entrusted to me was not given to me by any man.
12 No one taught me this revelation, for it was given to me directly by the unveiling of Jesus Christ.
13 By now you have heard stories of how severely I harassed and persecuted Christians and how systematically I endeavored to destroy God’s church, all because of my radical devotion to the Jewish religion.
14 My zeal and passion for the doctrines of Judaism distinguished me among my people, for I was far more advanced in my religious instruction than others my age.
15 But then God called me by his grace and chose me from my birth to be his.
16 He was pleased to unveil his Son in me so that I would proclaim him to the peoples of the world. After I had this encounter, I kept it a secret for some time, sharing it with no one.
In these scriptures Paul is sharing his testimony and basically how life was for him before he encountered Christ. Paul had also mentioned how revelation came from God himself and man.
Something changed in Paul’s life that would have an impact till this day. An encounter with the gospel.
A “But then God” moment intervene in Paul’s life.
This encounter would have such an impact on his life that it impacts other’s lives.
This is the same Paul who gave us the letters that are written the Bible. This is the same Paul who preached the Gospel in many countries. This is the same Paul who captured many believers and persecuted them.
When we have a “But then God” moment it changes everything for us. Hearts start to change, perspectives start to change, lives start to change, and more.
If Saul (at the time) was to never encounter Jesus in Damascus we would’ve never heard from Paul and what the Holy Spirit did through him.
Jesus stepped in.
When we allow Jesus to step in and take control over our lives, we start have these “But then God” moments.
These moments are darkness to light moments.
These are moments that we know that it was of God.
“But then God” changes everything.
Allow God to step in. Open your heart to him. He wants a relationship with you, he wants to transform your life!
God is LOVE!
