Hebrews 13:5-6

“Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you always have God’s presence. For hasn’t he promised you,
“I will never leave you alone, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!”
So, we can say with great confidence:
“I know the Lord is for me and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me!”
There is a reason why the scriptures say “Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have.”
We can find many examples in our world today of people who have a lot but are still hungry for greed. It never fills them up. It is not all money, for others it can be something totally different.
If we don’t find contentment in the Lord, then we will always be unfulfilled. Being content with the Lord will always fill us up. We can go to material things or quick affirmation through social media and still wouldn’t be “filled “up the way Jesus fills us up.
We don’t have to worry about what we have and what we don’t have for the Lord always gives us what we need when we need it!
We can confidently say and believe that the Lord is with you and for you even in the darkest of times.
These verses speak for itself. These are words we can speak over ourselves daily.
Don’t get caught up with “What I don’t have” but instead be grateful for “what you do have” and have an understanding that the Lord will continue to bless you.
What are something you are grateful for? Make a list, you might be surprised on how long it is!
God is LOVE!
