3 For our spiritual wealth is in him, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered – heaven’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge.”

Spiritual wealth is the greatest form of wealth we could ever possess. 

​

True knowledge and wisdom come from Jesus. 

​

This wisdom is here ready for us to find it, we must open our hearts to receive it. 

​

This is more impactful than any material, money, job, house, car, status that we could ever gain. When wisdom comes from God we can never go wrong.

​

When we find security in our worldly wealth this puts us in a dangerous position. It puts us in a position where needing God is more like an addition. 

​

No, God is not an “addition”. He must be our focus in everything we do. We must have a heart that knows our blessings come from him and not our own doing.

​

When we drench ourselves in spiritual wealth, we start to see hearts change and desires start to shift. 

​

In the gospel of Matthew 6:19-21 it says

 

 19 “Don’t keep hoarding for yourselves earthly treasures that can be stolen by thieves. Material wealth eventually rusts, decays, and loses its value.

​

  20 Instead, stockpile heavenly treasures for yourselves that cannot be stolen and will never rust, decay, or lose their value.

​

 21 For your heart will always pursue what you esteem as your treasure. 

​

True treasure is in Heaven!
